| The David Mellor Design Museum Café is a unique environment in which to enjoy a range of freshly baked cakes and specialist teas. The indoor seating area is positioned amongst a display of the full historic collection belonging to the British designer and that of his son, Corin Mellor. Tableware used in the cafe showcases that which established the individual manufacturer as an architectural innovator at the turn of the 20th century. During the week visitors are able to view the cutlery being made just a few metres away at the factory. |
