Established over thirty years ago, the cafe at the Burford Garden Company is set in one of their light-filled glasshouses and decorated with the work of local artists and eccentric memorabilia. The selection of mouthwatering cakes attract particular attention, displayed on traditional cake stands, using fresh, natural ingredients and locally sourced wherever possible, with some ingredients grown on site in the Kitchen Gardens.
All cakes are made from scratch every day and include traditional favourites such as battenberg cake, brownies, lemon drizzle and cupcakes; as well as slightly more adventurous options. The Chocolate Guinness cake is now a specialty, along with a collection of miniature lemon meringues and gluten-free coconut and lime cakes. |
